A detail-oriented Senior General Ledger Accountant responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, month-end closing, and eventually managing project-based revenue recognition through Percentage of Completion accounting, with opportunities for professional growth within the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and coordinate general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies (e.g., IFRS or local GAAP)
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies
Take ownership of Percentage of Completion (PoC) calculations for project accounting, including revenue recognition and cost tracking
Support audits and provide necessary documentation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in general accounting or audit.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Willingness to learn and grow into project accounting responsibilities.
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
English language skills at minimum B2 level, both written and spoken.
