Job Description
The Controls Engineer at Zeeco is responsible for designing, estimating, inspecting, and overseeing the installation of electrical and control systems for petrochemical and power plant combustion equipment, including burner flare control panels, instrument selection, PLC configuration, and control logic development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, estimate, inspect, and oversee the construction of electrical and instrumentation systems for petrochemical and power plant combustion equipment.
- Design control panels and burner flare control systems, select instruments, and prepare data sheets.
- Review project specifications and design junction boxes for instruments and control panels.
- Configure PLC systems and develop control logic for Burner Management Systems (BMS) and DCS control loops.
- Create electrical and instrumentation documentation and drawings.
- Support field commissioning and provide on-site training for startup operations.
Requirements
- Experience or familiarity with designing electrical and instrumentation control systems for petrochemical and power plant related combustion equipment, including tasks such as design, estimation, inspection, and construction.
- Ability to design Burner Flare control panels, select instruments, and prepare Data Sheets.
- Experience in reviewing project specifications.
- Ability to design Instrument and Control Panel Junction boxes.
- Proficiency in PLC configuration and control logic programming.
- Experience in designing Burner Management Systems (BMS) and DCS control loops.
- Ability to create electrical and instrumentation documentation and drawings.
- Experience in supporting on-site commissioning and conducting field training.
- Willingness to support boiler logic design for domestic and overseas projects.
- Open to candidates with no prior experience (entry-level applicants are supported).
- Possession of a electrical engineer license (전기기사 자격증) is preferred.
- Proficiency in English language skills.
