Job Description
The Commissioning Engineer PLC Automation is responsible for overseeing the commissioning and integration of PLC automation systems in advanced combustion and environmental projects, ensuring reliable and efficient operation in various industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission and troubleshoot PLC automation systems for combustion and environmental solutions
- Develop and implement control strategies for industrial equipment
- Perform testing, calibration, and validation of automation systems to ensure proper functionality
Requirements
- Proven experience in commissioning engineering with a focus on PLC automation, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning processes for automation systems.
- Experience in commissioning and start-up of combustion and environmental control systems in industrial settings.
- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings, control schematics, and engineering documentation related to PLC automation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, global project environment.
- Willingness to travel as required to support commissioning activities at various project sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve automation system issues efficiently.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with engineering teams, clients, and vendors during commissioning activities.
- Educational qualification of a diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.
