Job Description
A Combustion Engineer - End User Support is responsible for providing combustion solutions, diagnosing equipment issues, and upgrading technologies for fired equipment such as furnaces, heaters, and boilers, primarily for refining and petrochemical clients, while supporting environmental initiatives and collaborating with a global team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide combustion solutions for furnaces, heaters, boilers, flares, incinerators, and other fired equipment.
- Diagnose equipment issues across multiple markets and facilities.
- Travel to customer sites to assess and troubleshoot combustion equipment.
- Upgrade combustion technologies to meet environmental initiatives.
- Support refining and petrochemical end users with combustion problem-solving.
Requirements
- Providing combustion solutions for furnaces, heaters, boilers, flares, incinerators, or other fired equipment and ancillary technologies for customers in the region.
- Applying problem-solving skills across multiple markets, customers, and equipment, including diagnosing equipment issues.
- Traveling to different facilities to diagnose and support equipment issues.
- Upgrading technologies to satisfy environmental initiatives.
- Solving combustion problems predominately for refining and petrochemical end users.
- Possessing expertise as a fired equipment specialist engineer.
