Job Description
The C I Engineer at Zeeco is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing control and instrumentation systems for industrial burners, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operation across global energy and chemical facilities. The role involves working on complex engineering projects, collaborating with international teams, and engaging with advanced combustion control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement control and instrumentation systems for industrial burners.
- Collaborate on complex FEED and Detailed Engineering projects across global teams.
- Develop and program PLC control systems and control narratives for combustion equipment.
- Design and specify hazardous area instrumentation and burner management systems.
- Ensure the safe, compliant, and reliable operation of combustion systems in various applications.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the design, configuration, and implementation of control and instrumentation systems for industrial burners used in fired heaters, boilers, HRSGs, and WHRB applications.
- Experience working on complex FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and Detailed Engineering projects related to combustion systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in PLC programming for industrial control systems.
- Ability to develop and understand control narratives for combustion control systems.
- Experience with hazardous area instrumentation and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Knowledge of burner management systems and safety systems to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operation of combustion equipment.
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across global offices on engineering projects.
- Experience working on high-value global combustion projects in refineries, petrochemical plants, or energy facilities.
- Educational background in engineering or a related technical field (implied but not explicitly specified in the posting).
