Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and adapting software solutions for the green energy industry, working collaboratively within a distributed team to address unique market needs and enhance product offerings. The role involves full lifecycle development, from rapid prototyping to ongoing support and improvement of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and adapt the product for the unique needs of partners, clients, and customers.
- Collaborate with other teams to adapt existing capabilities and build necessary components for electric vehicle chargers and energy providers.
- Participate in the full lifecycle from rapid prototyping to development.
- Join the support rota to triage platform issues and respond to incidents.
- Work with technologies such as Go, Kafka, Flutter, and GCP.
Requirements
- You are a hands-on engineer with expertise in at least one programming language, preferably Go.
- You have built or contributed to a variety of systems, ideally in different technologies.
- You have knowledge of the best engineering practices and continuous delivery.
- You are genuinely passionate about developing products that will positively impact over a million people and also our environment.
- You love working in teams and collaboratively building features that impact customers.
- You are motivated by owning products, from inception to continuous improvement.
- You have a bias to action and a Can do approach to problem-solving in the face of uncertainty.
- You seek learning opportunities to deepen your expertise or broaden your knowledge.
- You have good communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail.
