Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer responsible for developing and integrating AI-driven platform solutions, including setting up production environments, designing workflows and APIs, ensuring security and observability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable software in a remote, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and integrate production environments, including configuring identity protocols and networking components.
- Design and deliver workflows, connectors, and APIs with data mapping, transformations, and error handling.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code deployments using Terraform and Helm, including managing cutovers and rollbacks.
- Instrument services for observability and reliability, define SLOs, set up alerting dashboards, and participate in incident response.
- Execute security and compliance reviews, including data residency, encryption, and access controls.
- Lead customer engagements through technical workshops, UAT, performance testing, and go-live support.
- Assist in presales activities such as demos, POCs, and providing implementation estimates.
- Incorporate deployment feedback into product roadmap and documentation improvements.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics like time-to-value, on-time go-lives, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years in field engineering solutions engineering implementation for B2B platforms, data, AI, automation preferred.
- Depth in at least two cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and containerized application deployment.
- Strong experience in integrating client data via Trino Starburst and building custom connectors when needed.
- Hands-on experience with identity and networking protocols and configurations, including SAML, OIDC, SCIM, VPC design, peering, VPN, private connectivity, and firewall policies.
- Practical experience with observability tools such as metrics, logs, traces, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and SLO-driven operations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js for glue code, tooling, and accelerators.
- Comfortable working with PostgreSQL and implementing event-driven patterns for reliable data flows.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills, ability to produce clear documentation, and maintain steady hands during cutovers and escalations.
