Job Description
A People and Culture Specialist responsible for managing employee lifecycle initiatives, enhancing employee experience, supporting organizational development, and fostering a positive, inclusive company culture within a remote, fast-paced tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact for employees and contractors, providing support and gathering feedback.
- Support and evolve core People processes such as onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and feedback cycles.
- Collaborate with managers and teams to improve employee experience and ways of working.
- Contribute to internal communication and employer branding initiatives.
- Drive well-being and ESG-related initiatives and policies.
- Design and deliver initiatives to strengthen community and belonging within the company.
- Create and maintain internal documentation, guides, processes, and policies.
- Analyze people data and feedback to generate actionable insights.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to processes, tools, and workflows.
Requirements
- Fluent English written and spoken is essential.
- Proven experience in People Operations, HR, Employee Engagement within a fast-paced environment, ideally in tech or consulting.
- Strong judgment and interpersonal skills to build trust, navigate sensitive situations with discretion, and approach people-related topics with empathy and maturity.
- Ability to operate independently with a high level of ownership and accountability.
- Clear, structured communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages to different audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking skills, comfortable working with qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions.
- A practical, execution-focused mindset with the ability to get things done and follow through.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and maintain quality across multiple topics.
- Continuous improvement mindset, proactively challenging existing processes and identifying better ways to operate, leveraging tools and technology to increase efficiency and scale impact.
