Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Business, Public Administration or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
At least five years of industrial security experience in a corporate environment or a combination of military and law enforcement experience.
Crime prevention/loss prevention training and experience is desirable.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Must be able to work alone and make critical decisions with little input from management.
Must be able to work flexible hours to meet situational demands.
Must be physically capable of meeting demands of the position.
This position is subject to 24-hour on-call status and response.
Valid driver's license required.
Must be able to travel with little advanced warning.
CPP or PSP certification desired.
Must be able to personally conduct site inspections at a variety of facilities, such as power plants, service centers, electric substations and office buildings.
Must be able to climb ladders, to inspect roof hatches or other such openings, lift floor tiles to inspect under the floor, to get down on hands & knees to see under flooring or inspect culverts or holes in fences, walk on uneven surfaces or terrain such as those found at substations or generation facilities.

Ability to interface with and/or collaborate with others to develop security solutions that fit within the business framework and budget.
Ability to work alone and make critical decisions with little input from senior management.
Demonstrated, expert knowledge of investigative strategies and techniques, to include interviewing.
Proven written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet situational demands.
Ability to travel with little advanced warning.
Subject to 24 -hour on-call status and response.
Valid driver's license.
CPP or PSP certification desired.
