Job Description
Position Summary Manage a team of fleet maintenance staff and operations across multiple garages to safely inspect, maintain, operate, and provide emergency repairs for a fleet of 500-1500 units while meeting requirements for reliability, schedule, and cost.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Seven years' experience related to fleet/garage management, truck/equipment repair, transportation, logistics, operations management, or related field required.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- Strong project management skills required.
- Attend meetings in various locations, up to 50% travel; valid driver's license required.
- Occasional on call duties to respond to emergency situations.
- Demonstrated ability to schedule and manage work activities to meet customer requirements.
- Knowledge of and ability to use a wide range of computer software applications, including Microsoft products, Fleet Management Information Systems, work management, and scheduling tools.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
