Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Support foundation data collection and analysis aligned with strategic goals and performance requirements of the internal programs.
- Support development of data dashboard and consolidation of current data sources and inputs to manage, track and measure program's key performance indicators.
- Complete data entry, data management and metric reporting in the Foundation’s online portal, CyberGrants.
- Support implementation of successful annual workplace giving campaign including donor support, data entry, and input into the key performance.
- Support accounting and finance teams on audit and financial processes
- Support employee giving programs which include but are not limited to giving campaigns, Dollars for Doing, matching gifts, volunteer paid time off, sponsorships and in-kind donations; help create process documents and job aids for these.
- Assist in monitoring and responding to emails and voicemails that come in on shared inboxes and hotlines.
- This position is for an immediate start date . This position may have the possibility to extend beyond the internship’s initial term based on the candidate’s successful performance and Xcel Energy’s business needs.
Requirements
- Current student, Junior or higher
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Corporate Social Responsibility, or similar
- Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week)/ part time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week) and commuting to the designated work location in-person, per our hybrid work policy
- Experience with Excel Microsoft Office, Data management projects
- Prior volunteer or work experience in a professional office setting
- Demonstrated experience with Excel spreadsheets: data analysis, pivot tables and reporting
- Management of data projects, identification of inputs with several stakeholders, ability to interpret requirements and define best-in class-solution
- Experience in data processing, identification of trends, generation of recommendations, and KPI measurement
- Successful candidates will have excellent attention to detail, be organized, and have good communication skills
