Job Description

The Water Project Engineer will provide high-quality engineering services related to water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure for municipal clients, including preparing design documents and overseeing construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality water, wastewater, and recycled water services to municipal clients.
  • Prepare design documents including calculation sheets, drawings, specifications, engineering reports, and contract documents.
  • Oversee the construction of water and wastewater projects in the field.
  • Work in a project team setting and report to Project Managers and Technical Managers.
  • Coordinate and mentor team members, set project schedules, and control project task execution.

Requirements

  • Technical expertise in the field of environmental engineering.
  • In-depth understanding of the engineering concepts associated with water and/or wastewater infrastructure.
  • Experience preparing design documents including calculation sheets, drawings, specifications, engineering reports, and contract documents for bidding and construction.
  • Experience overseeing the construction of water and wastewater projects in the field.
  • Ability to work in a project team setting.
  • Ability to report to Project Managers and Technical Managers.
  • Experience in project leadership and direction through coordination and mentoring of team members.
  • Ability to set project schedules and control the execution of project tasks.
