Job Description
The Water Project Engineer will provide high-quality engineering services related to water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure for municipal clients, including preparing design documents and overseeing construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality water, wastewater, and recycled water services to municipal clients.
- Prepare design documents including calculation sheets, drawings, specifications, engineering reports, and contract documents.
- Oversee the construction of water and wastewater projects in the field.
- Work in a project team setting and report to Project Managers and Technical Managers.
- Coordinate and mentor team members, set project schedules, and control project task execution.
Requirements
- Technical expertise in the field of environmental engineering.
- In-depth understanding of the engineering concepts associated with water and/or wastewater infrastructure.
- Experience preparing design documents including calculation sheets, drawings, specifications, engineering reports, and contract documents for bidding and construction.
- Experience overseeing the construction of water and wastewater projects in the field.
- Ability to work in a project team setting.
- Ability to report to Project Managers and Technical Managers.
- Experience in project leadership and direction through coordination and mentoring of team members.
- Ability to set project schedules and control the execution of project tasks.
