Job Description
The Water Infrastructure Project Engineer will collaborate with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver water and wastewater projects, providing technical expertise across various practice areas and supporting project management and client relations within the California region.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver water and wastewater projects.
- Evaluate, plan, design, and oversee the construction of water and wastewater systems.
- Lead the technical delivery of multiple projects in coordination with project and technical managers.
- Work directly with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Support marketing and proposal efforts for new projects.
Requirements
- A Professional Engineer license is required.
- Strong experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing water and wastewater systems.
- Familiarity with a broad range of practice areas including master planning, permitting, treatment, and distribution systems is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver water and wastewater projects across the California region.
- Experience in leading the technical delivery of multiple projects in collaboration with Project and Technical Managers.
- Ability to work directly with clients and internal teams to support project execution.
- Experience in supporting marketing and proposal efforts for water and wastewater projects.
- Availability to travel up to 20% within the Southern California region.
- Proficiency in developing, designing, and delivering water and wastewater projects in a professional engineering capacity.
- Demonstrated technical focus and detail-oriented approach to project work.
- Effective communication skills for working with clients, internal teams, and senior technical staff.
- Ability to participate actively in company initiatives and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
