The Water and Wastewater Treatment Project Manager oversees the daily operations, maintenance, safety, and client communication for water and wastewater treatment facilities, managing a team of union employees and responding to emergency events as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee safety, daily operations, and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities
Manage administrative duties and maintain close communication with clients
Supervise a team of 4 union employees in operations and maintenance activities
Respond to emergency events, alarm call-outs, and be available for standby and on-call duties
Requirements
Experience overseeing the safety, day-to-day operations, and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Ability to maintain close client communications related to water and wastewater treatment projects.
Experience supervising a staff of at least 4 union employees in the daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities, collections, distribution, and customer service duties.
Availability for standby duty and the ability to be on-call, working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to respond to emergency events and alarm call-outs as scheduled and required.
Schedule reliable and dependable attendance, with typical hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications related to water treatment is preferred but not explicitly required.
Physical ability to perform duties related to water and wastewater treatment operations, including responding to emergency events and alarm call-outs.
Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols in water and wastewater treatment operations.
