Requirements

Massachusetts Grade III Wastewater Operator License
At least two years of wastewater treatment operations and maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
High school diploma or trade school certification
Valid Massachusetts driver's license
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes, laboratory procedures, recordkeeping, and equipment maintenance
Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds
Walk throughout the facility and collection system to perform inspections and operational rounds
Climb ladders, stairs, and access elevated structures as needed
Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces when required
Work safely in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
Respond to emergency situations outside of normal work hours as needed
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures
