The Stormwater Senior Technical Lead is responsible for developing, managing, and overseeing stormwater and flood resiliency projects, providing technical expertise, maintaining client and regulatory relationships, and ensuring project success in accordance with regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage stormwater and flood resiliency projects
Provide technical expertise on stormwater management and flood resiliency
Oversee and lead stormwater and flood resiliency projects in the region
Maintain relationships with clients and regulatory agencies
Supervise project teams and prepare reports and proposals
Stay current on emerging technologies and regulations related to stormwater and flood management
Represent the company in industry and professional organizations
Ensure project execution adheres to all relevant regulations and standards
Requirements
Thorough understanding in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing stormwater solutions, including flood risk mitigation, watershed management, stormwater conveyance, stormwater quality, and programmatic funding.
Experience in developing, implementing, and managing stormwater and flood resiliency projects.
Ability to oversee and lead stormwater and flood resiliency projects in the region, providing technical expertise on stormwater management and flood resiliency.
Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with clients and regulatory agencies.
Supervisory experience in managing project teams.
Proficiency in preparing reports and proposals related to stormwater and flood resiliency projects.
Ability to stay current on emerging technologies and regulations related to stormwater management and flood resiliency.
Experience representing a company in industry and professional organizations.
Location flexibility with preference for Southern California Region, with the ability to work in California offices in Sacramento, San Francisco, Walnut Creek, Los Angeles, Irvine, San Diego, or remotely/hybrid with 1-2 days in office or on-site.
Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time with clients in California and occasional travel within the US to support national practice strategic initiatives.
