The Industrial Wastewater Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining wastewater treatment and groundwater extraction systems, performing inspections, preventative maintenance, data entry, and report generation to ensure efficient and compliant plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain industrial wastewater treatment and groundwater extraction systems
Manage collection pipelines, distribution networks, and associated components
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
Conduct daily inspections, ground maintenance, and landscaping
Enter data and generate reports, including the Monthly Operating Report
Monitor and enforce compliance with administrative, safety, and operating policies
Coordinate tasks to ensure cost-effective and efficient plant operations
Requirements
Experience in operating and maintaining Industrial Wastewater Treatment and Groundwater Extraction Systems, with tasks including operating and maintaining collection pipelines, distribution networks, and associated components.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repair of all plant equipment, including daily inspections and ground maintenance and landscaping.
Proficiency in performing data entry and report generation, including preparing the Monthly Operating Report.
Ability to coordinate with other plant employees to ensure adherence to established administrative, safety, and operating policies.
Experience in monitoring and controlling assigned tasks to ensure cost-effective service that meets budget requirements.
Availability to work a schedule of four days on, three days off, specifically Sunday through Wednesday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional adjustments to meet operational needs.
Willingness to participate in a paid on-call rotation to handle after-hours calls after completing training.
