Job Description
The Entry-level Water Engineer position at Woodard Curran involves supporting engineering projects related to water and environmental challenges, including field investigations, design of treatment facilities, and regulatory compliance, while working closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for field investigations for water and sewer projects
- Assist with permitting for regulatory compliance
- Support the design of new and upgraded wastewater and water treatment facilities
- Oversee construction activities
- Conduct water system modeling
- Engage in detailed design with oversight from senior engineers
- Work on civil site and development projects
- Write memos and permits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Ability to provide engineering support in areas such as field investigation for water and sewer projects, permitting for regulatory compliance, supporting the design of new and upgraded wastewater and water treatment facilities, construction oversight, water system modeling, detailed design with oversight and mentorship from senior engineers, civil site and development projects, as well as memo and permit writing.
