Job Description
A Senior Solution Architect I at WeaveGrid is responsible for designing and integrating scalable solutions related to utility systems, electric vehicle charging, and energy management, supporting both sales and post-sales activities to ensure successful deployment and partnership growth in the clean transportation sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in utility, automotive, EVSE, and charging systems to support partner meetings and internal initiatives
- Gather requirements, define scope, and specify integrations with utility systems and enterprise platforms
- Translate partner requirements into detailed technical specifications and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering for delivery
- Create technical documentation, wireframes, presentations, demos, and proposals to explain solutions
- Support the launch and implementation of new integrations and solutions, acting as the single point of accountability
- Plan, execute, and oversee the delivery of integration projects involving complex solutions
- Provide technical training, product deep-dives, and support for market-facing teams
- Engage with partners to develop joint functionality roadmaps and promote scalable solutions
- Participate in industry working groups and support sales and delivery objectives
Requirements
- 5-7 years of full-time experience working in IT services, SaaS solutions, or related areas.
- Experience in enterprise software integration planning and execution.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to translate needs for diverse set of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in modern software tools such as Gsuite, MS Office, Atlassian, Figma, CRMs, AI, etc.
- Domain expertise in one or several of the following areas: Power systems, including distribution operations, demand management, or other related electric utility expertise.
- Experience with enterprise software systems and integrations.
- Experience with API-based device integration frameworks that support charging equipment and vehicles.
- Experience providing software product demos to senior executives and supporting consultative sales processes.
- Residing in or open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Possession of an advanced degree in engineering, business, or analytical sciences (preferred).
- Experience across both productized and IT services environments (preferred).
- Fluency in utility data standards IEEE 2030.5, IEC, OpenADR (preferred).
- Fluency in enterprise cloud software architecture and security (preferred).
- Experience with DERMS platforms and utility and/or energy market programs (preferred).
- SQL and/or Python skills for data analysis (preferred).
