Job Description
WeaveGrid is seeking a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to develop and enhance their driver-facing application, focusing on launching new features, improving user engagement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full-stack development of new features and capabilities from concept to deployment.
- Design and build features aimed at scaling the user base through data-driven decision-making.
- Build intuitive user flows to drive sign-ups and streamline onboarding.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to deliver a cohesive user experience.
- Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative team culture.
- Write and test code to ensure functionality, accuracy, and robustness.
Requirements
- Proficient in CSS and semantic HTML.
- Proficient in TypeScript.
- Experience with Next.js.
- Experience with React.
- Strong emphasis on testing component, unit, and E2E testing.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Backend competency with microservice-based architecture and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
- Experience with relational database schema design.
- Ability to make technical contributions independently.
- Proven ability to build impactful, high-quality products.
- Experience in a highly challenging role in industry for several years, or a newly-minted PhD and an expert within your area of work.
- Ability to manage broader systems considering tech debt, alerting, reliability, and monitoring.
- Ability to propose and initiate work to address the needs of tech debt, alerting, reliability, and monitoring.
- Experience mentoring other engineers.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: 145,000 - 180,000 plus equity stock options
