Job Description
A Software Engineer at Voltus will develop scalable software solutions, such as APIs and data pipelines, to support the company's mission of integrating distributed energy resources and decarbonizing the grid, working collaboratively within a remote team using modern technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Build scalable software components such as core APIs, data pipelines, and customer interfaces
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on the company's modern tech stack
- Contribute to core systems that support the decarbonization of the grid
Requirements
- Candidates must have 0-2 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Candidates must be eager to build scalable software for Voltus.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada; Voltus cannot sponsor visas or transfers for new hires.
- Candidates must be able to work remotely in a location where Voltus's regulatory and security limitations permit.
- Candidates must have the ability to collaborate with experienced engineers on a modern tech stack including Typescript, React, Go, Python, FastAPI, Postgres, Delta Lake, and Clickhouse.
- Candidates must be capable of building core APIs, designing data pipelines, or creating customer interfaces as part of their work.
