Job Description
A Project Engineer at Voltus supports demand response programs by managing technical projects, engaging with customers, and developing innovative processes to maximize participation, all within a remote work environment with some travel opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support multiple projects in parallel through technical conversations with customers
- Advise on load curtailment strategies and enable facilities with proprietary hardware
- Build scalable and innovative processes to meet company metrics
- Manage projects effectively with attention to detail
- Design creative solutions to facilitate facilities' participation in demand response programs
Requirements
- Must have the ability to have technical conversations with customers and support multiple projects in parallel.
- Must be comfortable working remotely with the potential for field work based on location, with 10-15% travel.
- Must have experience supporting demand response programs by advising on load curtailment strategies and enabling facilities with proprietary hardware.
- Must have relentless attention to detail.
- Must be a master project manager.
- Must be intellectually curious.
- Must be able to think outside of the box to design creative solutions to get facilities into the marketplace.
- Must be authorized to work from their home location in the US or Canada, as Voltus does not sponsor visas or transfers.
- Must be able to work primarily from their home country due to regulatory and security reasons.
- Working while traveling to other countries must be approved as per Voltus's Global Remote Travel Policy.
