Job Description
An internship position focused on gaining knowledge of energy markets and demand side management, working with teams to help customers profit from energy market participation while developing operational and analytical skills in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the energy markets team in analyzing market data and trends.
- Support the development and execution of demand response, energy purchasing, and energy efficiency programs.
- Learn about and help monitor energy market operations in specific regional markets (PJM, AESO, IESO, ISO-NE).
- Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Enhance analytical skills through data analysis related to energy markets and demand side management.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work from their home location in the US or Canada, unless otherwise indicated on the role description.
- Ability to work remotely, primarily from their home country, with approval required for working while traveling to other countries as per the Global Remote Travel Policy.
- Available to start the internship in January.
- Willing to work full-time or part-time, with flexibility to accommodate the intern's schedule.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about energy markets and demand side management.
- Strong process improvement, operational, and analytical skillset.
- Bright, gritty, and good, with a passion for delivering a cleaner energy future.
- Interest in or willingness to learn about energy markets such as PJM, AESO, IESO, and ISO-NE.
- No visa sponsorship or transfer required for employment.
