Job Description
A remote Energy Markets Analyst at Voltus will support various functions related to energy market operations, including data management, financial reporting, market strategy development, regulatory advocacy, and product collaboration, helping customers profit from their participation in energy markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize data handling related to energy markets
- Collaborate with Finance on revenue planning and financial reporting
- Engage with Regulatory Affairs to advocate for market changes
- Educate and support the Sales team on energy market dynamics
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to develop market- and customer-facing products
- Support the development of market strategy and regulatory advocacy efforts
- Participate in market-facing activities and stakeholder meetings
Requirements
- Experience working with Finance on revenue planning and financial reporting related to energy markets.
- Experience collaborating with Regulatory Affairs to push for market changes.
- Experience educating and equipping sales teams regarding energy markets.
- Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to develop market- and customer-facing products.
- Strong data management skills with a focus on optimizing data handling processes.
- Program management experience related to energy markets or similar projects.
- Ability to grow into developing market strategy and supporting regulatory advocacy.
- Excellent communication skills to hold meetings with coworkers and stakeholders during continental US-based business hours.
- Ability to work remotely from anywhere within the US, Canada, or abroad.
