Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead for Embedded Linux is responsible for leading the development of embedded software components on Linux and RTOS, overseeing project teams, and ensuring high-quality output while managing the software lifecycle and coordinating with external teams.
Responsibilities
- •Lead development of embedded software components on Linux and RTOS
- •Act as Component Owner for electronic control units and software subsystems
- •Lead small project teams in embedded software development
- •Ensure timely, high-quality team output
- •Coordinate with external development teams
- •Clarify technical requirements with product management and stakeholders
- •Create and design concepts for embedded software components
- •Implement, test, and manage the lifecycle of embedded software components
- •Conduct code reviews and create software architecture models
Requirements
- •A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
- •3-5 years of experience in embedded systems software development.
- •High proficiency in state-of-the-art Embedded Linux development.
- •Experience with RTOS.
- •Proficiency in C, C++, and scripting languages Python, Bash, CMake.
- •In-depth knowledge of software development processes and project management methods.
- •Knowledge of Software system development process models e.g., ASPICE, CMMI.
- •Experience with agile development methods e.g., SCRUM.
- •An advanced level of English and German.
