Job Description
The Customer Service Advisor will provide professional customer service by handling inquiries, scheduling appointments for various services, and resolving complaints effectively. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- •Deliver professional customer service using various communication methods
- •Schedule appointments for warranty call outs, commissioning, assembly, and repairs
- •Handle large volumes of inbound phone calls and ensure timely responses
- •Record customer data in compliance with the Data Protection Act
- •Build relationships with customers to enhance their experience and loyalty
- •Manage escalations and handle difficult customer situations with empathy
Requirements
- •Experience working in an environment where customer service is paramount, with an excellent understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- •An excellent telephone manner with high attention to detail, a problem solving right first time approach, and confidence in dealing with email written queries.
- •A self-starter and disciplined lone worker yet able to work well as part of a team, supporting colleagues and promoting excellent team spirit.
- •A natural listener and problem solver who is both empathetic and patient, with the ability to manage escalations and handle difficult customer situations.
- •Proficient in using customer service software and CRM systems.
- •Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and customer demands.
- •Quick and accurate keyboard skills with experience of using databases.
- •IT literate in a range of Microsoft and Google applications.
- •Ability to accurately record customer data in accordance with legal requirements under the Data Protection Act.
