Graduate Product Development Engineer (R&D)

As we continue to innovate, we're looking for a Graduate Product Development Engineers to join our R&D team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent engineering graduate to develop their technical skills while working on the design and development of next-generation busbar trunking systems.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers throughout the product development lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience in product design, prototyping, testing and launching new products that support some of the world's most demanding industries.
What you'll do
As part of our Product Development team, you'll have the opportunity to:
Assist in the design and development of new products from concept through to launch.
Create 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks.
Support prototype builds, testing and design validation activities.
Learn how to develop products that meet international standards such as IEC 61439 and UL857.
Work with manufacturing, sourcing, marketing and product management teams to bring new ideas to life.
Help identify opportunities to improve existing products through engineering change processes.
Contribute to product risk assessments (DFMEA) and design reviews.
Maintain engineering drawings and technical documentation using PLM systems.
Stay up to date with new technologies and engineering best practices.
