Key Responsibilities
- The Discrete Event Simulation (DES) Lead will be responsible for developing and deploying Vertiv’s global factory simulation and digital twin capabilities. This role serves as the technical authority for manufacturing system modeling, capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, staffing optimization, and scenario-based decision support across all production facilities.
- The DES Lead will establish and maintain global simulation standards, create scalable simulation architectures, and ensure simulation is integrated into the NPDI process, manufacturing process design, and factory transformation initiatives. The role will leverage discrete event simulation platforms (Simio or equivalent), operational data, manufacturing Bills of Process (BoP), and digital manufacturing ecosystems to create accurate predictive models that support investment decisions, capacity expansion, labor planning, and operational excellence.
