Job Description

A Senior Security Engineer - Red Team responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and strengthening the security posture of Insider's AI-driven customer engagement platform through proactive testing and security assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct red team security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in the company's systems and infrastructure.
  • Simulate cyberattack scenarios to test defenses and improve security posture.
  • Analyze security gaps and recommend remediation strategies to enhance overall cybersecurity defenses.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Security Engineer in Red Team or similar role, with a strong understanding of offensive security techniques and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, exploit, and remediate security vulnerabilities in complex systems and networks.
  • Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and security auditing across various platforms and environments.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, security controls, and attack vectors, including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, and firewalls.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or similar to develop and automate security tools and exploits.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices, including OWASP, NIST, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Ability to analyze security logs, network traffic, and system behavior to detect and respond to security threats and incidents.
  • Experience with security tools such as intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), vulnerability scanners, and exploitation frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically about security challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly document findings, prepare reports, and communicate security risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Physical ability to perform security assessments and penetration tests that may require working in various environments, including potentially confined or sensitive areas.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
