Job Description
The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing and reviewing SEC filings, managing financial disclosures, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, while supporting the global accounting team with complex financial reporting tasks and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preparation and review of SEC filings such as 10Qs, 10Ks, 8Ks, Proxy, and Section 16 reports
- Prepare quarterly consolidated cash flow statements and lease accounting entries
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly non-GAAP financial disclosures
- Manage and oversee all equity-related activities including stock plan administration and treasury repurchase programs
- Review contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment
- Research and recommend technical accounting treatments for new or unusual transactions
- Collaborate with global accounting team to implement new accounting standards and ensure compliance
- Support complex and non-routine areas of quarterly financial close and reporting processes
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant financial accounting and reporting experience
- Minimum 3 years in a national public accounting firm
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Excellent technical accounting research skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter who possesses attention to detail and the ability to use discretion in all dealings
- Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed environment
- Experience with Workiva and/or FCCS Hyperion is a plus
- Working knowledge of iXBRL tagging is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field
- CPA license is required
- Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, etc.
