The Industrial Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality through line balancing, layout improvements, and continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize production line layouts to improve material flow and efficiency
Perform line balancing based on cycle time, tack time, and production requirements
Calculate and propose appropriate manpower levels for each production line
Develop and maintain Work Instructions and Production Line Layouts
Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvement actions
Support line setup, model transfer, and NPI activities in production
Collaborate with QA to ensure processes meet quality standards
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related fields.
2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing electronics preferred.
English proficiency in technical reading and documentation.
Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and IE tools such as time study and capacity study.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
Able to work 48 hours per week.
Able to work in both office and production area environments.
