Job Description
The Senior Process Engineer Test is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining testing systems for high-volume electronics manufacturing, analyzing test data, supporting continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy automated and manual test systems for high-volume electronics manufacturing
- Define and implement test strategies to ensure product functionality, reliability, and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during NPI to establish test coverage, DFT, and production readiness
- Analyze test data to monitor yield, identify failure trends, and drive root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Support and maintain existing test equipment, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Develop and manage test software applications (e.g., LabVIEW, C, Python) for interfacing with instrumentation and data collection
- Train and mentor junior test engineers and technicians to ensure best practices
- Coordinate with global engineering and manufacturing sites to standardize test methodologies and share resources
- Interface with customers and quality teams to support audits, technical reviews, and resolve test-related issues
- Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce test time, increase throughput, and enhance first-pass yield
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a related field.
- More than 3 years of experience specifically in testing or electronics manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
- Good at English communication skills.
- Experience with FCT (Functional Circuit Test) machines, programming machines, and product error analysis.
- Able to participate physically in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
