Job Description
The PCBA Engineer at UEI is responsible for managing and resolving issues related to the soldering line to ensure product quality, including equipment maintenance, problem analysis, and employee training.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle irregularities related to the soldering line
- Adjust, manage, maintain, and repair equipment on the soldering line
- Analyze and track arising problems
- Track corrected revised product reworks
- Soldering patrol, guide, and train employees on the line
- Monitor UPH and UPPH of production lines
- Analyze and improve the UPPH index
- Support layout, program setup, and receive new product transfers
- Handle acceptance and engineering change notices related to components and equipment
- Monitor, label, and update fixed asset reports
- Plan calibration and replacement of production equipment
- Report related issues to the Head department
- Train employees in the SD team
Requirements
- 3 years working experience in a relevant field.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic communication skills in English or Chinese.
- Ability to work 48 hours per week.
- Ability to work in the office and production area.
- Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
- Responsible for adjusting, managing, maintaining, and repairing equipment on the soldering line.
- Responsible for analyzing and tracking arising problems.
- Responsible for tracking corrected revised products reworks.
- Responsible for soldering patrolling, guiding, and training employees on the line.
- Responsible for monitoring UPH and UPPH of production lines.
- Responsible for analyzing and improving the UPPH index.
- Responsible for acceptance and engineering change notice related to components and equipment.
- Responsible for monitoring, labeling, and updating fixed asset reports managed by the department.
- Responsible for monitoring and planning calibration, replacement, etc. of production equipment.
- Responsible for reporting related issues to the Head department.
- Responsible for training employees in the SD team.
