Sr. Accountant

• Prepare and post journal entries for various accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and accrued liabilities. • Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. • Support the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for departmental and company-wide financials. • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. • Support tax filings, including sales tax, property tax, and income tax compliance. • Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and cost management. • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and other duties as needed by the Accounting Manager or Finance Director.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. • 2+ years of experience in accounting, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel. • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial regulations. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records. • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. • Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • The successful candidate will bring a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company culture, including: • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to learn. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team. • Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment. • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills.
