Job Description

The Site Development Officer is responsible for managing a pipeline of origination leads, building client relationships, and closing deals related to ground lease buy-outs in the telecom and renewables infrastructure sectors. The role involves strategic pipeline management, negotiation, and contributing to process improvements to maintain competitive market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing.
  • Build and maintain a client pipeline using a consultative approach.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination and closings.
  • Monitor sales pipeline activity to ensure its health and stability.
  • Contribute to origination process improvements through data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives.
  • Support strategic initiatives and product development to stay competitive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience in business to consumer (B2C) sales
  • Natural sales talent with strong business acumen
  • Exceptional negotiation skills
  • Experience negotiating transactions from sourcing through close
  • Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Outstanding negotiation and influence skills
  • High level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company culture
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a personal pipeline of origination leads from sourcing to closing
  • Ability to be the first point of contact for prospective clients and build the pipeline employing a consultative approach to clients considering a ground lease buy-out
  • Ability to achieve personal monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to origination funnel management and closings
  • Ability to rigorously monitor personal origination waterfall activity to ensure health and stability of sales pipeline
  • Ability to contribute user-experience input to origination processes such as data mining, CRM design, and marketing initiatives
  • Ability to contribute to strategic initiatives and product design to maintain a competitive market position
