Job Description
A remote position for a seasoned real estate attorney specializing in renewable energy projects, responsible for managing deal pipelines, negotiating transactions, conducting due diligence, and advising on strategic commercial matters within the solar and wind energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the origination and closing of renewable energy real estate assets
- Manage a pipeline of deals across the United States
- Negotiate and draft documents for commercial real estate transactions
- Conduct due diligence and underwriting of assets for lease terms, cash flow, and facility information
- Advise on strategic transactions and commercial matters
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney at a mid to large-sized law firm and in-house at a renewable energy developer.
- Deep knowledge of the financing, development, and operation of solar and wind projects.
- Experience in negotiating and drafting documents for commercial real estate transactions.
- Experience conducting due diligence activities and underwriting assets for lease terms, projected cash flow, and facility information.
- Juris Doctor degree and bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.
- Fluency with technology and remote work capabilities.
