Job Description
The Energy Engineer will work on energy consulting projects, including energy audits and renewable energy initiatives, while leading a high-performing team to help organizations achieve their sustainability goals. This full-time, remote position requires a qualified engineer with experience in energy efficiency and carbon reduction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct energy audits and retro-commissioning studies
- Develop conceptual plans for capital energy efficiency and carbon reduction projects
- Lead and collaborate with teams on energy efficiency and renewable energy consulting projects
- Resolve technical client issues related to energy consulting
Requirements
- A fully qualified engineer with a full understanding of relevant engineering concepts.
- Experience with energy consulting projects, including energy audits, retro-commissioning (RCx) studies, conceptual development of capital energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and renewable energy projects.
- Ability to resolve a variety of technical client issues.
- Previous success as a Project Engineer or Energy Engineer.
- This is a full-time, permanent position based remotely in the US.
- Travel expectations up to 30%.
