Job Description
The VC Senior Analyst for the Toyota Ventures Climate Fund will be responsible for sourcing and screening innovative early-stage startups in climate technologies such as batteries, hydrogen, carbon removal, and renewable energy, leveraging their understanding of industry trends and passion for climate tech.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and screen innovative companies in climate technology areas such as batteries, hydrogen, carbon removal, and renewable energy.
- Analyze industry trends and identify early-stage startups that are defining those trends.
- Communicate findings effectively through excellent written and verbal skills.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of related work experience or an advanced degree in a relevant field (technical preferred).
- A strong understanding of and a passion for climate tech.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An understanding of industry trends.
- A knack for spotting early stage startups that are defining industry trends.
