Job Description

The VC Senior Analyst for the Toyota Ventures Climate Fund will be responsible for sourcing and screening innovative early-stage startups in climate technologies such as batteries, hydrogen, carbon removal, and renewable energy, leveraging their understanding of industry trends and passion for climate tech.

Responsibilities

  • •Source and screen innovative companies in climate technology areas such as batteries, hydrogen, carbon removal, and renewable energy.
  • •Analyze industry trends and identify early-stage startups that are defining those trends.
  • •Communicate findings effectively through excellent written and verbal skills.

Requirements

  • •A minimum of 2 years of related work experience or an advanced degree in a relevant field (technical preferred).
  • •A strong understanding of and a passion for climate tech.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • •An understanding of industry trends.
  • •A knack for spotting early stage startups that are defining industry trends.
