Job Description
The Senior UX Designer Researcher at Toyota Research Institute will focus on designing and researching robot interfaces for manufacturing environments, balancing both UX research and design tasks to enhance human-robot interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct generative and evaluative UX research
- Design screen-based interfaces and tangible interactions between robots and users
- Assess system usability and intuitiveness through user research
- Translate user needs into impactful robotics applications
- Contribute to the design of robot prototypes for research and applied projects
Requirements
- Experience in interaction design.
- Experience in UX research, including conducting generative and evaluative research.
- Ability to work equally in the UX research and design spaces.
- Experience designing screen-based interfaces and in-person, tangible interactions between robots and users.
- Ability to conduct user research to assess system usability and intuitiveness.
