Job Description
The Senior Project Manager PE, Civil - Transportation leads the design and planning of transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and roadways, while supporting business development and client relations in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of transportation infrastructure projects including highway, traffic, bridge, and roadway systems.
- Provide comprehensive transportation planning services such as sustainable, geometric, and multimodal planning.
- Manage project phases from preliminary engineering through final design.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop marketing plans, cultivate client relationships, and track business opportunities.
- Develop proposals and deliver client presentations to support business growth.
Requirements
- Must have experience leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems, including services such as sustainable transportation planning, geometric layouts, multimodal planning, preliminary engineering, and final design.
- Must have expertise in one or more of the following transportation design areas: highway, traffic, bridge, and roadway.
- Must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Wisconsin or be eligible to obtain one.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in transportation project management and design.
- Must have experience collaborating with clients, agency representatives, and internal teams to develop proposals, track opportunities, and deliver client presentations.
- Must be able to complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
