Job Description

A Senior Professional Engineer Project Manager responsible for leading the design of complex transportation infrastructure projects, managing client relationships, and contributing to business development efforts within a hybrid work environment in the Greater Seattle area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of complex transportation infrastructure projects to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Manage project teams and oversee project execution in the Greater Seattle market
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop marketing plans and enhance client relations
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and agency representatives
  • Track prospective project opportunities and develop proposals
  • Deliver client presentations and communicate project progress and outcomes
  • Optimize project cost efficiency and mitigate risks through innovative solutions

Requirements

  • Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Washington or be eligible to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
  • Demonstrate experience leading transportation projects in the Greater Seattle market or similar urban environments.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage transportation engineering projects from inception to completion, including planning, design, and construction phases.
  • Experience in developing and delivering client presentations, proposals, and marketing plans related to transportation engineering services.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain professional relationships with clients and agency representatives.
  • Experience in tracking prospective business opportunities and contributing to business development efforts.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment, with in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday.
  • Successful completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
