Job Description
A Senior Professional Engineer Project Manager responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex transportation infrastructure projects, including planning, engineering, and client relations, within a collaborative and innovative environment in the Greater Seattle area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Provide comprehensive services including transportation planning, geometric layouts, multimodal planning, preliminary engineering, and final design
- Manage projects in the Greater Seattle market, coordinating with clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with leadership to develop marketing strategies, cultivate client relationships, and track business opportunities
- Develop proposals and deliver presentations to clients
- Ensure projects are optimized for cost efficiency and risk mitigation
Requirements
- Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the relevant state or equivalent certification.
- Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in transportation infrastructure project management, including designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation systems.
- Experience leading transportation projects in the Greater Seattle market or similar regional context.
- Demonstrated ability to work with clients to provide a full range of services including sustainable transportation planning, geometric layouts, multimodal planning, preliminary engineering, and final design.
- Proven experience in business development activities such as developing marketing plans, cultivating and maintaining client and agency relationships, tracking prospective opportunities, developing proposals, and delivering client presentations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team and with clients and agency representatives.
- Strong understanding of cost efficiency and risk mitigation in project execution.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid work environment with in-office presence on Monday and Friday, and remote work Tuesday through Thursday.
- Successfully complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
