Job Description
The position involves managing airfield and airport engineering projects, developing long-term aviation planning and design solutions, and contributing to business development efforts through client management, proposals, and presentations within a collaborative, employee-owned firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee aviation airfield, airport, and commercial airline projects.
- Develop and maintain client relationships and manage client communications.
- Contribute to business development by developing marketing plans, tracking opportunities, and preparing proposals.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance services and reputation in aviation engineering.
- Deliver client presentations and project updates.
Requirements
- A Senior Civil Professional Engineer Project Manager with expertise in Aviation airfield, airport, and/or commercial airline projects.
- Client management expertise, including cultivating and maintaining relations with clients and agency representatives.
- Experience in developing long-term and sustainable aviation planning and design solutions for diverse clients, including large international airports, general aviation airfields, and military bases.
- Ability to contribute to the development of marketing plans, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations in collaboration with the Vice President of Aviation.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to complete and pass any background, security, and drug tests required by TKDA, clients, and state and federal agencies responsible for aviation operations as an ongoing condition of employment.
- Successful completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
