Job Description
A Senior Professional Civil Engineer specializing in roadway projects, responsible for leading design, project coordination, and supervision throughout the project lifecycle, while also contributing to business development and client relations in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and project coordination for roadway and municipal projects from feasibility studies to construction supervision
- Conduct roadway design, traffic analysis, pavement management, utilities coordination, and transportation planning
- Collaborate with management and business development teams to develop marketing plans, maintain client relations, and pursue new opportunities
- Develop proposals and deliver client presentations for transportation projects
Requirements
- A Senior Professional Civil Engineer with 10 to 20 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in roadway and municipal projects.
- Experience leading design and project coordination throughout the full cycle of roadway and municipal projects, including feasibility studies, initial design, final design, and supervising construction of the design.
- Proficiency in roadway design, traffic analysis, pavement management, utilities coordination, and transportation planning for both urban and rural roadways.
- Ability to collaborate with the Roadway Utilities Group Manager and the Vice President of Surface Transportation Engineering to contribute to the development of marketing plans, cultivate and maintain relations with clients and agency representatives, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Pre-employment background screening including verification of Social Security, education, criminal convictions, and driving history.
