Job Description
The Senior Engineer Project Manager - Traffic is responsible for leading the design of complex transportation infrastructure projects, managing client relationships, contributing to business development, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with management and leadership to develop marketing strategies and proposals
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and agency representatives
- Track prospective business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts
- Deliver client presentations and develop project proposals
- Ensure projects are optimized for cost efficiency and risk mitigation
Requirements
- Experience in leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification in transportation or civil engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with project team members, including managers and senior executives, to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain client and agency relations, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Experience in business development activities related to transportation engineering services.
- Ability to contribute to project cost efficiency and risk mitigation strategies.
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment with in-office presence on Monday and Friday and WFH from Tuesday to Thursday.
- Completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
