Job Description
The Senior Engineer Project Manager - Traffic leads the design and management of transportation infrastructure projects, collaborates on business development efforts, and contributes to community improvements within a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems
- Collaborate with management and stakeholders to develop marketing plans and proposals
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and agency representatives
- Track prospective business opportunities and deliver client presentations
- Ensure project cost efficiency and risk mitigation through innovative planning and execution
Requirements
- Experience leading projects for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification in transportation or related engineering field.
- Proven ability to collaborate with project team members, including Traffic and Planning Group Managers and senior executives, to develop marketing plans, cultivate and maintain client and agency relationships, track prospective opportunities, develop proposals, and deliver client presentations.
- Demonstrated experience in business development activities related to transportation engineering projects.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, with in-office presence on Monday and Friday and WFH from Tuesday to Thursday.
- Completion of a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
