Job Description
A registered architect role focused on leading design efforts and managing projects for corporate industrial, educational, and government clients, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to business development within a full-service, employee-owned firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the design efforts for corporate industrial projects, including developing schematic designs.
- Assist with specification preparation, edits, and production documentation.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, managing activities, schedules, and budgets.
- Develop project proposals and client presentations to support marketing and business development.
- Maintain and establish client relationships and identify industry and market trends.
Requirements
- Experience serving as a Project Architect and a Project Manager, with responsibilities including developing schematic designs, assisting with specification preparation and edits, preparing production documentation, and coordinating the activities of a multidiscipline team.
- Ability to manage fee estimates, project budgets, and schedules effectively.
- Strong design skills and the ability to contribute to and lead design efforts for a variety of corporate industrial projects, educational projects, and government projects.
- Experience in developing project proposals and client presentations, maintaining and establishing client relationships, and identifying industry and market trends for business development.
- Interest in working in a challenging and highly-collaborative environment to create effective, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable architectural solutions.
- Willingness to complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
