Job Description
The role involves designing water and wastewater treatment systems and infrastructure, collaborating on engineering projects, developing project management skills, and supporting business development efforts within a reputable, employee-owned engineering firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Design drinking water treatment systems and wastewater collection networks
- Perform design calculations and create engineering drawings for water and wastewater projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project development and execution
- Develop project management skills through overseeing project tasks and timelines
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver s license with a clean driving record.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Complete and pass any background, security, motor vehicle record (MVR), or drug test requests required by TKDA, clients, and applicable state and/or federal agencies based on project assignments.
- Have the ability to travel frequently throughout the country for project assignments.
- Possess a degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Have prior water wastewater experience or a strong passion for creating clean water solutions.
- Experience in designing drinking water treatment systems and wastewater collection networks.
- Experience working on complex water and wastewater projects across the Twin Cities metro, throughout Minnesota, and beyond.
- Ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplined team on design calculations and engineering drawings.
- Develop project management skills relevant to water-wastewater engineering projects.
- Participate in business development activities such as proposal writing and client presentations.
