Job Description
Join TKDA as a Graduate Traffic Engineer and help improve the safety and mobility of transportation systems throughout Minnesota and across the country.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid Driver's license
- Engineer in Training certification, or ability to obtain within six months
- Master's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in traffic or transportation engineering
- Experience related to traffic engineering or transportation engineering
- Exposure to traffic design or plan development; familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads Designer
- Exposure to traffic operations modeling and crash analysis; experience with Synchro/SimTraffic, Highway Capacity Software, VISSIM, RODEL, SIDRA, or similar analysis software
