Job Description
A Graduate Engineer in Civil Traffic Transportation will assist in developing transportation infrastructure projects by collecting traffic data, performing evaluations and studies, and preparing designs and construction plans for traffic signals, lighting, and signage, contributing to safer and more efficient urban mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe and collect traffic data
- Perform intersection evaluations
- Complete traffic and corridor studies
- Conduct analyses using simulation and modeling software
- Prepare preliminary and final transportation designs
- Develop construction plans for traffic signals, lighting, staging, maintenance of traffic, signing, and striping
Requirements
- Possess 0 to 2 years of experience in transportation engineering or a related field.
- Currently reside or plan to relocate within a regular commuting distance of the company's office.
- Ability to observe and collect traffic data, perform intersection evaluations, complete traffic and corridor studies, and conduct analyses using simulation and modeling software.
- Experience in preparing preliminary and final designs and developing construction plans for traffic signals, lighting, construction staging, maintenance of traffic, and signing striping.
- Successfully complete a standard pre-employment background screening, including Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
